RGAv

At Rob Gray Avionics we have the resources of our Avionics engineers and installation experts, with experience in everything from small fixed wing and home-built aircraft, to helicopters and large fixed wing Turbine and Jet aircraft.

Our team consists of a tenacious, enthusiastic and energetic crew of B2 licensed Aircraft Engineers and highly experienced AME’s, all of whom harbour an avid passion and interest in aviation, and in avionics in particular.

RGAv can handle all avionics upgrades, servicing, maintenance and installation types; be it a simple install or a complete glass cockpit; our skilled team supports both older generation equipment and modern avionics installations.

RGAv has it’s own hangar base at Albury Airport, a well-equipped workshop, and a travelling team of engineers who service a broad spectrum of commercial and private customers across Western NSW and Northern Victoria.

MEET ROB GRAY

RGAv Owner / Operator

Rob Gray has over 25 years’ experience in the Aviation Industry as an Avionics Engineer. His career began with Hazelton Airlines in the mid 90’s, where he worked on Saab 340’s and smaller GA aircraft. He has also worked with National Jet System’s on BAE 146, Dash 8 and small GA aircraft.

For 13 years Rob worked with Regional Express (Rex) as an Avionics Lame and subsequently as a a production leader. He departed from Rex with the view to building his own avionics business. His unyielding determination and professionalism has driven this business forward to become the well established and successful company it is today.

Rob Gray is a full B2 Lame, with unrestricted Saab 340, Dash 100-300 series (E8), BAE 146, and many helicopters.
He has spent his career working in both heavy maintenance and line maintenance, as well and running major avionics modifications and installations.
